Artificial Hands Sri Lanka

Why we did this project

In many Sri Lankan village communities injuries to peoples’ hands, whether by accident or through situations of conflict, severely limit their capacity to provide food, work and look after family. The cost to buy suitable prostheses is often prohibitive to people who are already struggling. Providing hand prostheses to disabled people in a Sri Lankan village.

What we did

Kidman Park Rotary organised fund-raising activities in order to provide hand prostheses to disabled people living in a rural village in Sri Lanka.
